I so relate to this!

It’s been 14 years now. From a time when we would speak 10 times a day to now, we find it difficult to catch up even monthly once over a call. We have gone through phases of being strangers. Every realisation here is spot on. Friendship is a choice and it grows when one makes time!

Beautifully penned!

Reading your newsletter today truly touched my heart. I could almost picture you at the airport, butter croissant and protein shake by your side, ready to embrace the world once more. The way you wove your story into a tapestry of learnings and love made me pause, reflect, and—if I’m honest—feel a little misty-eyed.

Your words on friendship resonated so deeply. The butterfly effect is real, not just in the chaos of the universe, but in the quiet moments we share with our people, shaping each other in ways we often don’t realize. I’m reminded of those small yet profound choices we make to pick up the phone, to send that text, or to simply hold space for someone far away.

Your reflections on long-distance friendships, the art of not knowing, and the simple act of assuming the best—these are gentle reminders we all need. You’ve managed to capture the bittersweet ache of missing loved ones and the unwavering joy of knowing they’re still “our people,” no matter how many miles or time zones separate us.

Your final thought on friendship being a decision—a choice we make to love over and over without reason or expectation—is a philosophy I’ll carry with me. It’s both beautiful and liberating.

Thank you for sharing this piece of your soul with us. Your vulnerability and authenticity are a gift, and I feel privileged to be a part of this little world you’ve created.

With love,
